It’s been a long day. Got some supplies photographed and listed in my Etsy Supply Shop. Bills done and sorted. May not sound like much, but sitting all day in my chariot gets uncomfortable. And, sadly my Red Bull euphoria has worn off. Coming down hard! 😉
My legs are now swelling up, so cutting this short.
I know I know, you’re all dying to know if i made the walk.. Well, by my title, nope!
My legs are swelling so much and the pain is seeping in. Been lying in my bed with my legs elevated and watching Grimm on DVR. Roger and Shelby went to the walk, which makes me feel better. I’ll get my t-shirt!! 😉 Hoping they get some good photos I can share of my fabulous team, Tracy’s MSkateer’s!
I know I’ve been kind of a bummer in a couple of my blogs… don’t mean to be. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed I can’t shake the blues off of my shoulders. Believe me, I fight them every day. On the up side, even when I’m down… I’ll never stay down for too long!
Truth!
I’m lucky, as no matter how bad it gets I have the best support system behind me. My family and friends rock and always make me smile no matter how hard the tears are falling. That, in itself, makes me one of the luckiest people in the World! Now if only I could win the Lotto! 😛
I do not have many ‘great’ days in my life. Good days maybe, but far from great. Well, yesterday was a GREAT day. My brother [baby brother] Ed and his wife Kelly brought an amazing new being in to this World. Ed and Kelly have a relationship that I’ve only seen in fairy tales. I may be biased, but my brother is pretty amazing.
I ‘met’ my brother when he was 6 months old and it was love at first site. He could not say Tracy when he started talking, so my new name became Sissy. I wear that name with pride. I’m sissy to my baby brother Ed and baby sister Laura. I would have it no other way.
And now, a new chapter in Ed’s life. The baby brother I changed, baby-sat, fed, etc. is now a daddy. I’m over the moon. [also feeling really old, lol]
So, without further ado, Welcome to the World Max – born Jan. 20, at 11:52pm. 8lbs 6oz.
No, I didn’t ‘have’ an epiphanie, I got one. An Epiphanie camera bag that is.
My Canon camera bag is nice, but let’s face it, it’s more of a ‘man’ bag. It’s big and bulky and very hard to get in and out of. Being in a wheelchair it’s very hard to carry around along with my purse, phone, and well you know! lol
Our mission is to save cameras from being banged around in purses, while liberating stylish women photographers from the Manbag.
———————————–
Being in a wheelchair, the Epiphanie Bag is the solution for me! I can put the strap cross-body and lie it in my lap. It will be easy access AND carry all my other necessities of life. I’ll finally be able to have my camera with me. I cannot wait for it to arrive. The biggest and only problem I had on the site was deciding which one to buy! lol It took me over an hour. My daughter Ashley was the tie breaker.
The winner is:
Ginger in black
I did my research as well. There are ‘other’ bags [which will remain nameless] similar to this, but the comments and posts I read in forums, came right back to Epiphanie.
I must also thank my friend and fabulous photographer, Jen, for sharing the link to Epiphanies FB page.
I highly recommend checking out Epiphanie and joining their FB page if you are a female photographer looking for a new and stylish way to carry all your camera needs. Now, we do not want to leave the men out in the cold as there are many men who are secure in their identities that may love these as well. 😀
Drop on by, check them out, and tell ’em Tracy sent you! 😉
So there you have it… I GOT an Epiphanie!!!
Peace out!
PS: The Lyric in yellow and Lola in red I love as well. *hint hint* family and friends!! 😛
I haven’t blogged much as of late… not much to say.
best to be quiet
This past year has been one of those roller-coaster rides you just want to get off. A not-so-fabulous hellish hospital stay, a few bad MS months, the waiting for the shower to be done, and just normal FML things.
But…
There is also the roller-coaster rides you never want to end. The love and support shown during and after my hellish hospital stay and during the bad MS months. Thanks to a couple of Angels, we are debt free and finally getting caught up. [so hoping the other shoe does not drop] I know, pessimism at its finest. I’m trying, lol
This year has also brought true friendships to light and I am so blessed with them. And yes, you know who you are.
I have no resolutions as I never keep them. I just hope for my MS to slow down before it puts me in a home. But, if the home is in an asylum, I might find it kind of cool. Free meds… need I say more. Wonder if they have wireless access…
So, I really don’t have much to say yet again.
I just wanted to wish all my family, friends, and anyone who needs a wish, A very happy and wonderful 2011. May all your dreams come true.
One lil thing too, remember to be a bit kinder and caring to those who may be struggling in their life. We never know what smiles may be hiding…
Whether in a wheel-chariot or not I can still have nice shoes. Boots are my ultimate kind of footwear. I’ve had people ask why I need to buy new shoes. REALLY, Why not? Why do you buy makeup when nothing can fix your ugly? My shoes/boots/sandals stay nice, and I may be in a chair but my feet can still look good. I like to feel pretty like everyone does. I rock a wheel-chariot.
So, I’ve been keeping my eyes on some new boots for Fall. I wanted suede and wanted a square toe. Found an awesome boot by La Canadienne called the Janie boot. They are originally 259. Zappos had them for 196. I found them for 141.50. I’m the ultimate online sales shopper. I usually do not spend over 100.00 on boots, except for my UGG’s, but this was a great deal for a great boot.
