The hardest thing, sometimes, is to “let go.”
I wonder if Christ provided such a teaching when he talked of “turning the other cheek?” Who knows? All we have to go on is the interpretations of Church fathers who may or may not have understood the original language of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Greek, Hebrew, Aramic?
Don’t know, but would like to think so, from a Zen Christian perspective. Let it go.

Not sure what you’re ‘letting go’ of, but tonight I had to do my own letting go.
I had to let go of some of my independence I’ve struggled so hard to maintain as a result of my on going problems with Medicare.
I agree with what you’ve shared that it takes strength to ‘let go’. It takes far more strength and courage than most people will ever know.

I have had that issues as well Robin. I’m still working on it!
This is more about the loss of a dear friend due to miscommunication. I guess we live and learn!
