I hope everyone has a very safe and Happy All Hallows’ Eve!!
As for me, my back is killing me so I am going to sit in the dark in my room and watch scary movies. One of my favorite things to do. 👻
I’m a little bummed that I’m not able to put on make up or do anything this Halloween, but there will be others. Thankfully Snapchat has given me a few ways to do some make up. LMAO
Did I mention I love Halloween!
Be safe tonight and be mindful of others around you. And if teenagers show up at your door, give them candy! It’s much better that they’re doing something safe and fun then being out doing something not so safe and possibly getting into trouble. Childhood leaves us much too soon so let them be children for as long as possible. 🖤
And, if you have a black kitty keep them inside tonight. Humans can be very evil and black cats are targeted on Halloween. I think we all know that humans are the only monsters in this world.
Last but not least, an update on my MRI… They are working to get it done via outpatient so that I can be sedated to help with my pain during the MRI. I decided there’s no reason for me to be in that much pain to get a test so they need to work and help me. We have to be our own advocate and we need to speak up if something is not right for us. So that’s what I did!
Have a fun and safe Evening! Keep your furbabies safe and away from opening doors.
Last night was the pumpkin carving party at Don’s house. Here are the wonderful pumpkins that were carved. It was a fun time for all.
I started out dressing like a Vampire, but the wig cap/wig gave me a headache. My fitted Vampire teeth were a pain in the mouth! lol
So, ended up as a Witch. The lace on my hat is over 90 years old. It was my Nana’s. There is also a black rose with it. This is my favorite Witch hat. Yes, I have more than one. 😛
My fabulous make-up was done by Steph. She made me look damn good for a 51 year old. lol
Even with the pain, I had so much fun! I have let fear, being self-conscious, and embarrassment from my illness stop me from doing so many things. I know there will be times when my condition will keep from doing certain things. It makes me sad to not be able to be ‘normal’. One thing is for sure; I am blessed with a support team that always has my back. They never give up on me, even when I give up on myself. I am one of the lucky ones!
I hate the quiet all the time. It’s 105 degrees here and I so want to go outside and get in the pool and just swim. We purchased a 15′ above ground pool 7 years ago. In the beginning it was not a problem getting in… now no can do. I have not been able to get in for about 3 years now. We even purchased a dual staircase ladder to make it easier for me. Alas, it was good for a while. I so miss the sun and even the heat. I miss the water the most. 😦
I truly have become the “Vampire Mom’! The night is my friend!! moooowhaaaaaa
See, I become one at Halloween. Love scaring the little ones!! 😛
Now to ramble… I LOVE Apple Support!! My MacBook Pro power adapter is messing up. Sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn’t. So I went to Apple support, online, and set up a phone call for this morning at 10 am. On a Sunday even!! The CS rep, Greg, got me all hooked up with a new one coming overnight mail. Then all I have to do is send the old one back in the pre-paid box and I’m done. So glad I purchased the Apple Care protection. I love my MacBook Pro!! The best computers ever… and they’re pretty too! lol
I love Halloween. I can be anyone I want to be. I am able to dress like the ‘witch’ I am. lol
This was me last year. I’l be doing the same this year as I love my Witches hat. lol I am hoping to get better pics this year as my dress is awesome! There is a cool corset involved as well. All handmade from here:
